Hitotsubashi University and Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main signed an Academic and Student Exchange Agreement

On 4th April, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (Goethe University) President Prof. Enrico Schleiff visited Hitotsubashi University for an Agreement Signing Ceremony convoked.

Goethe University President Enrico Schleiff and Hitotsubashi University President Satoshi Nakano signed agreements to promote academic cooperation and student exchanges. The advantages offered by the two collaborating universities were discussed along with other specific joint activities at a meeting convened after the Signing Ceremony.

Founded in 1914 and encompassing 16 faculties, Goethe University is one of the most prominent universities in Germany. This renowned international research institution has produced Nobel Prize winners in physics and chemistry and is spread over four main campuses located in Frankfurt am Main, a central city and a hub for finance and business.

The Faculty of Law, Goethe University and the Department of Business Law at Hitotsubashi University maintain existing exchange programs. However, this new Agreement mandates the annual exchange of two students between Hitotsubashi University and Goethe University rather than particular faculties.

Hitotsubashi University will further advance cooperative ventures with universities across the globe.
